When you click the link to download choose one of the following options:
Open ("Run this program..."): The installation will start automatically once the download is complete and will guide you through setting up your account.
Save: You will need to choose where to save the installation program. After the download is complete click on "Open" to launch the installation. Or if you choose to install the program later, go to the directory where you downloaded the file and double click on the install program.
After the program installs, click "Run" to register your account and start your free trial of the service. The installation will walk you through customizing the software for your particular requirements. Help is available throughout by pressing the F1 key if you need additional information on any screen.
The trial period begins the day that you start your account and continues for 30 days. If the files you select for backup exceed the limit for your plan you will need to deselect some files from your backup set to bring the backup set size under the limit. If you need to change plans, please send an email to support@backupsolution.com and let us know the plan you would like to change to.
We will send you an e-mail about two weeks into the trial with information on how to sign up for the service and for billing information. If you wish to continue backing up, simply follow the link provided and fill in the information requested. If you decide not to sign up, your account will be cancelled at the end of the trial period. It is not necessary to contact us to request cancellation of your account. Accounts that have been abandoned during the trial are automatically canceled. Since we do not require any billing information for the trial, you do not need to worry about incurring charges you do not approve.
Canceled accounts can be reactivated for a period of 30 days after cancellation. If you need to reinstate your account, please contact billing@backupsolution.com to request us to reactivate your account and send billing information.
