Does LiveVault rely on IP address/MAC address/Server name for authentication?
LiveVault relies exclusively on Verisign digital certificates for authentication. Server name/MAC address/IP addresses are never used for authentication. This eliminates the possibility of spoofing. Also, the server name can be changed and is never a part of the actual communication authentication.
