How does the initial backup work?

Once you have configured a backup policy, the initial backup process will begin. The time this initial backup will take is dependent on the size of your backup, how compressible the data is and your upload Internet speed.

To minimize the impact on Internet bandwidth during work hours you can configure a schedule to limit the bandwidth used by LiveVault by hour and day of the week.
